When Oasis Technology, Inc.
came to Webfoot Studios for a new web site, they came with a plan and a very outdated website. Their objectives were to have;

1. A fresh and modern look and feel for their new Website.
2. Provide easy access to the most important things a visitor would request; information on services/products offered, information on Oasis Technology and contact information.
3. Become a local resource of useful and related information to keep people returning to their site and establish brand loyalty.

Case Study - Visitor Optimization

Webfoot Studios implemented a simple layout and design using colors and themes that match Oasis’ services & products. A Flash logo banner at the top of the page informs what the company does, who they serve and a repeated and predominant tag line. Also note, one of the most useful contact tools is the phone and the Oasis phone number is placed above the banner and has an eye-catching red background.  

Because of the different objectives and target audiences, WFS simplified the navigation menu which focused on the most important things a visitor would request. The content was presented in an engaging yet concise format for the online visitor. A search engine was included so anyone could instantly find what they were looking for.  In addition, a site map was added to the website and all pages were carefully planned to enhance the visitor's experience.

As a requirement, the site had to be a tool for Oasis users as well as reinforce brand identity. An eNewsletter was developed with an identifiable banner and engaging graphics added to illustrate the content. A tech blog was also setup for related comments, links and IT related helpful tips, a good way to connect with visitors. A dynamic list of the day’s current IT and Web news headlines with links is on the homepage that serves as a resource for anyone wanting a quick stop for the latest buzz.

The results have been great! According to George Baldonado, CEO, the new site is performing better than they could have hoped and customer feedback has been overwhelmingly positive.
